![]() To update your GPU drivers, open AMD Radeon Software (For AMD GPUs) or NVIDIA GeForce Experience (for NVIDIA GPUs) and check for any updates. There’s often an update available when AAA games release or go into open beta. Updating your GPU drivers is the first step. Therefore, we highly recommend that you check whether or not your GPU drivers are updated. That’s certainly the case for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as well. The devs recommend Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080, which is a $700 dollar card, and that money could easily buy all the minimum specs gear for running Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.Before big game releases, Nvidia and AMD often release driver updates that fix crashes, FPS issues and more. On the higher end of the hardware specs, however, are the heavy hitters, and it's pretty clear that running Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War at high FPS, 4K resolution and ray tracing will require a pretty penny if you need to buy the gear outright. Even if you're below these, you should still be able to get these or trade up for less than what the game goes for. ![]() Minimum graphics is Geforce GTX 670, GTX 1650 or Radeon HD 7950, while minimum CPUs are i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300. Interestingly, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's bare minimum requirements mention Windows 7, whereas the rest are all reserved for Windows 10 64bit version. Of course, that greatly depends on where you're from and your personal situation, so we're not pretending like this hardware is free or anything - we're just giving (overly) general estimates. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches on November 13, 2020, so you've still ample time to upgrade your PC if you need to, but if you're gunning for minimum hardware requirements - you might not even need to.
